Innovative breeding has made the Armeria Dreameria series one of the longest-blooming varieties available. While most armerias flower only from mid to late spring, Armeria 'Dreameria Vivid Dreams' continues to produce its stunning blooms from April all the way through to the first frosts. The flowers are also larger than usual, with abundant pompom-like deep purple blooms perched on slender stems that rise gracefully above compact mounds of evergreen, grassy foliage.
Once established, Armeria 'Dreameria Vivid Dreams' is drought-tolerant, making it an excellent choice for challenging areas such as coastal gardens, rockeries, dry slopes, or patio containers. It's also ideal for softening harsh landscaping edges, whether planted in crevices of paving, walls, or along the borders and pathways. The flowers attract bees and other beneficial pollinators, making it a great option for wildlife-friendly gardens.
