This gorgeous variety of lettuce will provide you with beautiful full salads all season, due to its vigorous growth and compact crop! The crop will appear all the way from May to October in mases of dense delectable shades of green, which will stay fresh and full of flavour well after picking! ‘Kyrio’ is a bolt resistant variety and simple to grow, meaning this variety is also low maintenance! Direct sow lettuce seeds outdoors from March to July into well prepared, fertile, moist soil in sun or semi shade. Sow seeds thinly at a depth of 1cm (1/2”) in drills 30cm (12") apart in soil which has been raked to a fine tilth. When large enough to handle, thin out seedlings to 30cm (12") apart and cover with a protective netting or fleece to prevent attack from birds and insects.
